David holds a master’s degree in molecular biology and performed his Ph.D. research in Josef Penninger’s laboratory at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, Austria. He has experience in tumor angiogenesis and tumor glycosylation. At Angios, David is responsible for steering the vascular transplants and diabetic retinopathy projects.
